With over two decades of experience in real estate valuation, Brian Floyd brings a depth of expertise that spans residential, commercial, and complex property types. Since earning his Certified General Appraiser license in Colorado in 2004, Brian has provided valuation and consulting services for a wide range of properties, including single-family and multifamily housing (affordable and workforce housing), industrial facilities, office and retail spaces, commercial and residential subdivisions, golf courses, marinas, religious facilities, hotels, medical offices, data centers, biotech facilities, and resort properties.

 

Brian’s professional background includes managing and supervising appraisal teams and trainees, ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering high-quality valuation solutions.

In addition to arbitration and valuation services, Brian serves as an Appeal Negotiator for Boulder County, where he applies his expertise to resolve property tax disputes through negotiation and evidence-based analysis. His experience also includes acting as a Hearing Officer for the Boulder County Board of Equalization and providing testimony as an expert witness in both State and Federal courts for both private and public entities.

Brian holds the SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute and has completed all requirements for the MAI designation, with comprehensive examinations scheduled for completion in 2026.
